Narrative Digital Collage

     In this collage, I've described a story of my life. This story shows my experiences at - "Forever 21", my first job . One of the layers I did was making the sign of the store brighter and stand out more because it represents what my story is about. My next layer I have is music notes all over because they always play good and bad songs when I'm working, also music is a part of who I am. Another layer I have put was the character's from one of my favorite movies "Mean Girls". In the movie they love shopping so I thought it would be a good idea to put them in my store. After I cropped in "Popeye" which was one of my favorite cartoons to represent the security guards at my store. Unfortunately girls at my store steal so I felt it would be a good idea to put it in since I see it all the time. Finally, I put a picture of me inside the store shopping because I like to shop for clothes and I'm always in that store walking around. 

Good Art VS. Bad Art

       There are many views in "what is good about art"? My point of view is art should be something that the viewer can get more than one meaning. One view they get right off the back and another view they get after analyzing the photo. In my perspective art should show different emotions which should be represented in color or expressions from either a living thing or object. I believe in art people can show emotions or the artist can get creative and give objects emotions(personification). As long as some statement or message is being showed in a creative way it is good art.

       Everyone artist or viewer as a perspective of bad art. My perspective of bad art is a painting or module that is too basic or dull. However good art can have dull colors but its the lack of objects or people or colors that make it bad. A painting with nothing but dull colors in my eyes is bad art because i find it complicated to get a meaning out of it. All art should show meaning if not then there is no reason for why it should exist at all.
